FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

“How do memberships work?”

ANSWER

“We offer three types of memberships - 1 class per week (Starter Membership) 2 classes per week (Pro Membership) and Ultimate Lifetyle Membership (Up to daily classes!) By purchasing your classes on a subscription basis each week, it’s an incentive to carve out your time for physical and mental health. If you can not make it to any of the classes running in a week, you will still be charged, however we understand that life is a juggling act, and as long as you give us 7 days notice and we will pause your membership for as long as you require. Membership class credits do not accrue each week.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

“I’ve never done Pilates before. Do I need to do a 1:1 or beginners class first?”

ANSWER

“We welcome beginners to every class at Alt State. Everyone has to start somewhere, and you won’t be a beginner for long. Please let your instructor know if it’s the first time you’re using the equipment so that they can give you a 1:1 introduction and ensure your safety and confidence. We have small classes of just 8 people, which enables your instructor to keep a close eye on you and give you all the attention you may need in class. You are also welcome to join a specifically Beginner Class - which are run on Sundays at 9.30am. Our ‘Stretch and Tone’ classes also have a slower pace, so are a great way of being introduced to the equipment.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

“What’s the difference between class passes and memberships?”

ANSWER

“Class Passes are packs of classes that are purchased outright, stored on your Momence profile and docked every time you attend class. However, we understand that not everyone wants to buy a package outright, so memberships are a wonderful option. Choose the membership that suits your lifestyle and you’ll be charged weekly. You are able to book into any of the classes we have running each week.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

“What’s your cancellation policy?”

ANSWER

“All cancellations must be made through the Momence App, or website. When you give us 12 hours or more notice, your class will be credited back to your account. If you cancel within 12 hours, you will be charged. If you don’t cancel a class you aren’t able to attend, and do not show up to it, a $10 no show fee will be charged to your account. As a small studio of just 8 reformers, with regular waitlists, we rely on your commitment once classes are booked. ”
